Spondylus drop earrings
Cut from the sacred thorny oyster — a material revered across the Pacific
$95
The story
Spondylus — the thorny oyster — has been a sacred material across Pacific and Mesoamerican cultures for over three thousand years. Its deep orange-red interior was once more valuable than gold, traded across vast ocean routes as a symbol of life and fertility.
These earrings are cut from a single spondylus shell, shaped by hand and finished with a fine abrasive stone. The warm gradient from cream to terracotta is entirely natural — no dye, no treatment.
